i realize as child #7 in a family of 8, calling myself a middle child may seem a bit of a stretch. But within the second set of 4 kids, i am indeed in the middle, with all the peace-keeping, non-confrontational, people-pleasing baggage that comes with it.
i’ve been crafting since about the time i learned to hold a crayon. Now i make a living as a graphic designer, but spend my free time doing any manner of handcrafts – knitting, jewelry, sewing, greeting cards, you name it. About the only thing i don’t do is crochet ( will only pick up a hook if my knitting project requires it to finish off something) and scrapbooking (way too time- and money-consuming).
